Who we are
DharmKriya (dharmkriya.com) is an independent community platform for Hindu devotional activity: pandal tracking, puja booking requests, and related festival information. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of any puja committee, temple trust, religious body, or government authority.
Accuracy of crowd-sourced information
Pandal listings, timings, open/closed status, crowd levels, and sightings are largely contributed by the community and by organisers themselves. We verify what we reasonably can, but timings change, pandals close early, processions get rerouted, and mistakes happen. Always confirm critical details (especially travel plans and timings) independently. DharmKriya accepts no liability for losses arising from reliance on the information shown here.
Payments and refunds
Where a service is paid for on DharmKriya, payment is collected through a PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateway. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or UPI credentials; those are handled by the gateway. Prices shown include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise, and you will see the final amount before you confirm. If a booked service cannot be delivered, a refund is issued to the original payment method under our refund and cancellation policy; refund timelines depend on your bank or provider. For any payment that is debited but not reflected against your order, write to namaste@dharmkriya.com with your transaction reference and we will reconcile it.
User submissions
By submitting content (photos, sightings, messages, listings) you confirm you have the right to share it and grant DharmKriya a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform. Submissions are moderated; we may edit, hide, or remove content at our discretion. Do not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes others' privacy (avoid identifiable photos of individuals without their consent).
Privacy
We collect the minimum needed to run the service: contact details you provide with a booking request, technical logs (hashed IP addresses and user-agent strings) for abuse prevention, and cookies for your city, language, and theme preferences. We do not sell personal data. Booking contact details are used solely to fulfil your request. To have your data removed, write to namaste@dharmkriya.com.
Live streams and third-party content
Live streams, maps, and images may be provided by third parties (stream platforms, map tile providers, photo services). Their availability and content are outside our control and subject to their own terms.
Religious sentiment
This platform exists to serve devotees and festival culture with respect. If any content on the platform appears inaccurate or hurtful to religious sentiment, report it to namaste@dharmkriya.com and we will review it promptly.
