What is ours, what is factual, and what is yours

The original artwork, illustrations, written guides, and design on DharmKriya are created by us or used with permission, and may not be reproduced without consent. Pandal names, locations, timings, and similar details are factual information aggregated from public listings and from what the community shares; facts are not owned by anyone. Where we draw on community maps or directories we take only such facts, never another site's written descriptions or photographs. Content you submit, such as your own pandal photos, remains yours.

03

Your submissions, and the licence you grant

When you submit a photo, sighting, message, or listing, you confirm that you own it or have the right to share it, and you grant DharmKriya a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and moderate it on the platform for as long as it is shown. You must not upload anything that infringes another person's copyright, or photographs that clearly identify individuals without their consent. We moderate submissions and may edit, hide, or remove any of them.

04

Report content or file a takedown notice

If any song, musical composition, audio, artwork, photograph, video, or written text on DharmKriya belongs to you, or infringes your rights, and you want it removed, corrected, or given proper credit, write to namaste@dharmkriya.com with: (1) a description of the work, (2) exactly where it appears on the platform (the page link), (3) confirmation that you are the owner or authorised to act for them, and (4) your contact details. We treat these as a priority and act within 48 hours of a valid notice, usually sooner, at no charge and without conditions.

05

Attribution, correction, and restoration

Where we can identify the committee, artist, or photographer behind a work, we credit them; if a credit is missing or wrong, tell us and we will fix it. If content you submitted was removed and you believe that was a mistake, or that you held the rights all along, write to namaste@dharmkriya.com and we will review and, where appropriate, restore it. We may remove content and, for repeated infringement, bar the account responsible.
