The price is the price

When you book, you see one amount, itemised into the pandit’s dakshina, the puja samagri, travel, and our own fee. That amount is fixed at the moment you book. If the pandit raises their rate next month, your booking keeps the price you agreed.

Your pandit has agreed not to ask you for anything beyond it. Not for samagri, not for daan, not for any sankalp, and not for anything in the name of a temple, a gaushala or your ancestors. If you choose to give something after the puja, that is entirely your own wish and nothing on this platform expects it.

If you cancel

If you cancel, what comes back depends on how much notice the pandit gets, because a pandit who has kept your morning free has turned other work away.

If the pandit cancels or does not arrive

If the pandit cancels or does not arrive, you get the entire amount back regardless of timing, and we find you someone else.

You get the entire amount back whatever the timing, and it counts against the pandit. You did nothing wrong and should not fund somebody else’s failure.

Who we let onto the platform

A pandit is a stranger walking into your home. Before a listing is visible to anyone, we check their photo ID, verify their address, and speak to references, and each of those three checks is recorded separately against the person who did it. A listing that has not cleared all three cannot be booked.

Temple pujas

We do not currently arrange pujas performed inside a temple. What happens on temple premises is run by that temple’s own pujaris and we cannot stand behind the price or the experience there, so we would rather not take your money for it.
