What is Shraddh?

When is Pitru Paksha in 2026?

Pitru Paksha 2026 runs from 26 September to 10 October. The closing day, 10 October, is Sarva Pitru Amavasya (Mahalaya), when the rite for all ancestors together is offered.

I do not know my ancestor's exact tithi. Can I still book?

Yes. When you set the day, choose "I am not sure of the date or the tithi" and the rite is offered on Sarva Pitru Amavasya, the day set aside for all ancestors and for any whose tithi was missed.

Do I have to travel to the tirth myself?

No. Choose "Join online" and the pandit performs the rite at the ghat in your name; you watch it live and the recording is sent to you afterwards. If you would rather be there, choose "Come in person" and we confirm the exact spot and time with you.

Which tirths can I choose?

How do I know the rite was performed?
