Pitru Paksha 2026 runs from 26 September to 10 October. The closing day, 10 October, is Sarva Pitru Amavasya (Mahalaya), when the rite for all ancestors together is offered.

Yes. Shraddh at Haridwar can be booked in any month. Families most often keep it on the tithi of passing, as it returns each lunar month or once a year (varshik shraddh), or on an Amavasya. When you set the day, choose the day your family keeps.

Yes. In Pitru Paksha, choose "I am not sure of the date or the tithi" when you set the day, and the rite is offered on Sarva Pitru Amavasya, the day set aside for all ancestors and for any whose tithi was missed. In the other months, ask your family's pandit or elders which day to keep, then choose that day.

No. Choose "Join online" and the pandit performs the rite at the ghat in your family's name. If you would rather be there, choose "Come in person" and we confirm the exact spot and time with you.
