The text
Meaning in English
This aarti offers the waving of lamps to the beloved Hanuman, the power of Rama who subdues the wicked. It recalls that mountains tremble at his strength, that no illness dares approach him, and remembers his crossing to Lanka, the reviving of Lakshman with the life-herb, and his defeat of Ahiravana in the netherworld. His left arm strikes down demons and his right arm delivers the devoted; whoever sings his aarti attains the highest abode.
