Meaning in English
Victory to Mother Lakshmi, served day and night by Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma. She is Uma, Rama and Brahmani, mother of the world, sung by Narada and contemplated by sun and moon; giver of joy and wealth, so that whoever meditates on her gains prosperity and fulfilment. Where she dwells all virtue enters and the mind is unafraid; without her there is no sacrifice, no cloth, no plenty, and whoever sings her aarti is filled with joy and freed from sin.
